Then, I compressed it further to just over 8mb, and it is still refusing it. I had the same issue. I just ran an autoclicker on it for a minute and it worked ¯\ ( ツ) /¯. Neither, 600kb and i was able to use other gifs, but not that one. I had this issue turned out that the banner size exceeded the recommended.

Anyone got a fix for this banner removal? This happens with 600x240 banners, 1200x480 even random sized banners. Of course I can't test this issue further because of that stupid profile picture/banner upload limit. This thread is archived.
