After you do the war table mission to clear that camp it opens up another area (not sure if its a distinct path but you have to take a ladder down into a hole). In DAI i liked the astrarium puzzles and the temple floor puzzles and did them without looking it up. I hated the exalted plains puzzle before that dragon where you light the torches and it changes the pillars, i had to look it up and still it was hard because of the mechanics of the game. In DAO i enjoyed the puzzles in the sacred ashes mission.
