This makes any stacking of corrosive lead to a dps plummet after the armor is removed (corrosive is neutral to flesh).I know Toxin is considered one of the best bonus elements if you want to use only 1 elemental mod to save mod slots (can create Viral, Corrosive and Gas). Heat is good if you want to combine 2 elemental mods that don’t interfere with the bonus element to give a weapon a good extra combined status effect (Heat + Viral, Corrosive or Magnetic).

Compared to Brakk, the Drakgoon overall serve the same purpose but have higher damage, boucing shots,and the possibility tighten the shots and land everything on head regardless of target distance, while Brakk has falloff starting at 11m.

Kuva Brakk is definitely pretty beastly, but it does have a very short range. I'd also suggest Pyrana Prime, which is a full-auto weapon. Whilst it does have a benefit for killing three targets in rapid succession, this is very much 'in rapid succession' because it's ultimately a single-target weapon.
