This is all down to personal preference. As a CCW, 43x takes up less space in the pants. 48 has the longer barrel, thus has a longer sight Radius and is "more accurate". If you are planning on putting a light on it, the TLR-7 Sub is going to be almost flush fit with the 48. XSC is almost flush fit with 43x.
