As a car enthusiast, I don't understand why people hate on the Toyota Camry. I get that it's not fast, it's a "normal" person car, it's not "engaging" by some peoples' standards. But I would not mind owning a Camry with a manual transmission, zipping around town during the week and cruising down back roads on the weekend.Double check your engine is a 2GR-FE then google '2gr supercharger kit/performance parts" etc. Thank you for your input! Id choose the Camry. Good points, it'll be my daily driver for a while, it would make sense to pay more for that.

It doesn't have any transmission issues, on low gears it tends to be a bit laggy but it's just something to anticipate. It's mostly when it's set on Eco mode. Normal and sports mode don't have that very slight lag that people are talking about.
