Sep 1, 2020 · Sig X5 Legion vs Canik TP9SFX. I'm coming from shooting Open for years - thought I'd try Carry Optic where the cost of racing is lots cheaper. I picked up a like new X5 and a new Canik TP9SFX. The comparsion between the two has been fun to date. Both a Excellent pistols and each has its own positives for me.
For craftmanshiop and extreme quality, the old X5L1 runs like a swiss watch. The newer 210T punches about the same holes in my hands, so you decide which is "better". I think he meant vs the P320 X5 Legion. I have a standard X5 and I now have a standard p210 coming. I'll be able to give you an update in a week or so.The X5 was more stable than my Xcarry but it was hard to tell the difference. and for another my shots were not back on target fast enough when doing double taps. The X5 legion definitely worth getting or upgrading the module. I think the only main difference between the X5 and X5 legion is mostly weight and the X5 legion is very heavy.As far as the trigger, with the legacy P series models, all that's needed to get a trigger that is nearly identical to a Legion is to have the Sig SRT kit (which sells for $59 on the Sig site) installed by a good gunsmith. Thanks for the thread. Considering upgrading my CO rig from a G17mos with a vortex viper. Got to store counter handle a Legion an was impressed. Haven’t found a Max to fondle yet. One question: with the Legion, you’ll need to remove the mag well to be USPSA compliant. The stock photo of the Max also shows a magwell. Also needs removed?

Yes, but the OEM trigger in the X5 is a tad heavier pull than the Custom Works. I agree, the CW isn't as crisp, but in comparison to the Grayguns, it is more crisp. So from what I gathered from OP's interests, IMO it's the way to go. The skeletonized trigger in the X5 Legion and the Custom Works FCU are the same except for color.

Sig P320 Spectre Comp vs X5 Legion. Alright so I'm a little confused on this new P320 Spectre Comp. Is this an upgraded legion? It has the TXG frame but apparently with better grip with the laser treatment and it has a comp and is supposed to shoot even flatter than the X5 Legion. Comp also weighs nearly 42 oz vs X5 Legion 43.5 oz.The mounting screws are 4mm instead of the normal RTS2 8/32 mount screws as well. Unfortunately the Legion only fits DPP and R1 pro pattern optics.
