If you plan for the majority of your shooting to be beyond 400 yards, I'd go with the 7. Otherwise I'd do the X95. Another thing to note: the X95 and 7 share furniture parts, barrel lock and a few other odds and ends. They are both very easy to work on, but I'd have to hand it to the X95 on seeming a bit more rugged.
