Jul 11, 2020 · The problem was found in either the software or hardware of the microprocessor. Mine does step a bit when the pedal is pumped fast, but I do get a soft start. This is a beta test machine mind you. Supposedly the arc start is 10 amps less than the 25 amps from the ProTig200. Weld like a "WELDOR", not a wel-"DERR".
