It's something the Questie devs have said they're looking to change, but I don't think there's any timeframe on when it will be updated.

I’ve answered this for a few people on Atiesh today, here’s how to fix the missing Questie tracker with v7.1.1 (probably will be hot fixed soon). Click Questie from your minimap. The WoW Classic quest tracker is called Wowhead. Game old. Ya sounds like classic isn’t for you bud. The vanilla quest tracker is very limited. It will only show incomplete quests that have a numbered objective, like "kill 8" or "loot 10".
