Just get under them and spam. Hell yeah. O' Flame, Black Flame, and Ancient Dragon Lightning Strike pretty much get me through my incantation runs now that I've done a few and know what really works well. I'd include Pest Threads in the discussion, but that takes a while to get and I decided to skip it to save time.
