Def gauge light means way more then it needs to. It is just an indication somthing in the after treatment is wrong. It’s not always somthing wrong with just the def. On our ISX15 it will turn the def light on if theres somthing wrong with the diesel doser right after the turbo. Or certain egr/ turbo faults.
