I think Holosun needs to put that 64 moa ring with the 2moa dot / dot ring/ ring only into their pistol optics. The 64oa ring allows for the bottom hash to be the 10 yard zero the dot is 50. That reticle has more use for me on a carbine and the size of the pistol optics on small carbine makes the gun feel like there is optic at all.News & Events. Greed dots are hard to find, sub $300 isn't easy, and Holosun kicks the shit out of anything outside of RMR. 407 only has a dot. Idgaf about the ring and the 407 was like $60 cheaper than a 507 at the time I got it.

The Holosun 509t is also a very tough little optic. Just like the 508t, it's sight housing is constructed from titanium. So it's a very strong optic, and it's not overly heavy…. In addition to that, the windage and elevation turrets are also recessed into the sight housing.

In my opinion Holosun are at the top of the CCW/EDC handgun game right now price, durability and features wise. Just make sure if you do get a 509T that you get a CHPWS 509T to Glock MOS plate, since it's the best one on the market to mount it with. I have one on my gun and it is a rock solid mounting point.

I have a Romeo1Pro that came with my P320 XFull. For Holosun pistol optics, I just have the EPS Carry. I like both, but very different. I have an EPS, but waiting for a gun for it. I have heard great things about the 509T and know many folks who have both the 507 and 407. The Romeo has some mixed reviews, particularly on durability.

The 508t is sturdier since it's made of titanium. I liked the glass on the 507c better. It had less of a blue tint. I also liked the window shape better on the 507c. From a shooting standpoint the 507 has slightly less distorted and tinted glass.
