The best ways I’ve found to do so are actually to mix two 4 star items together and a Senzu Beansprout (available from the regular item shop). I spec'd my female Saiyan for 9 bars of ki prior to Meditation being in the DLC. I'll likely respec to 6 bars and put some points into health instead. That being said, if you'd rather use one of the new charge skills that came out in the last DLC (There two, but the one charges ki slowly for the first couple bars, then begins to charge rapidly.
