Your biggest concern is damage, some mobs require quick killing or worse case a rampage or witching otherwise they'll kill you. The bird on the 170 or 180 floors come to mind, if you dont burst them quickly they'll stunlock you and kill you, even as tank. I'm going to hee-ho down your neck. I'm kidding. Maybe.

If you've never done palace before, it can get a lil spicy 1-50 with no aetherpool. I recommend finding a 1-50 group in party finder, though you'll likely have to start it yourself. 1-50 solo would take much longer and with no aetherpool and prior experience it would take ages and you'd have a decent chance of dying and losing all that progress.I have really been enjoying Palace of the Dead so I thought I would do another video on it! I agree, it's no specific info on that, especially for players that are new to PotD/HoH. However, in PotD there're 2 floors from which you can start: floor 1 and floor 51 (and in case with HoH it's 1 and 21). The way it works is this - if you die between floors 1 an Palace of the Dead (PotD) Palace of the Dead is the first Deep Dungeon, located in South Shroud at Quarrymill, for combat Jobs level one and up. It’s unlocked via the level 17 quest ‘The House That Death Built‘ in Gridania. It requires a little bit of MSQ progression, specifically making it past the early MSQ dungeon Copperbell Mines.Solo leveling is pretty viable around the first 30 or so levels by doing levequests, FATEs, and hunting logs. Palace of the Dead can also be done solo, but soloing POTD/HOH can be pretty challenging and you don't get any EXP if you die before clearing all 10 levels, meaning it might not be worth the effort.
