It was nicely compact, but I was pleased to find that the 0.58 x 0.77-inch viewing window didn’t feel too small or cramped. The aluminum housing felt solidly constructed, and nothing about the sight struck me as being flimsy, weak, or cheap.

Page 39 & 40 in the Max-9 manual have the instructions for mounting an optic. Pics showing your issue would be helpful.
