Iron farm not working.

Hey guys, I'm new to this sub. Recently I made an iron farm. It actually worked at first, but it just suddenly stopped working. It still spawns cats, and from my research the iron farm village fits all the criteria to spawn an iron golem. It has ten villagers and a workstation for each of them, as well as 24 beds.

Iron farm not working. Things To Know About Iron farm not working.

Most likely the villagers lost their connection to the beds and the beds might seem to be occupied to them. It often happens when upgrading a world to a new version that the beds get bugged so I would not be surprised if this is also the case with migrating a world to a server. The solution is to break and replace the beds.Hi thanks for replying! I got the iron golem farm working already. Turns out it was because the villagers could not access their workstations. I had a glass block blocking them from accessing it, a big mistake on my end :PIn this case though, he never made the farm with zombies. That's only needed in a java farm and does nothing in bedrock. Interestingly, he designed this farm before 1.17, but it should actually work pretty well with the new mechanics that came in in 1.17.30 from what I can see. Anyway the the most likely reasons that you're not getting golems:Same problem here. The villagers arent afraid. They even get slapped by a zombie and continue to sleep. I tried 2 different iron farm designs and then tried on my own but nothing works.Just FYI, the villagers will produce golems for a little while without a bed, but when the sleep counter stops, they won't produce any more until they sleep for half a second, which is what they'll do in that farm if it's working properly with beds.

There are many different iron farms I am not an expert but this doesn't look like it's going for efficiency. To build a okay farm making like a stack an hour look at avomance on Youtube. So my temp solution to get it to work again -> place blocks infront of the zombie, let them sleep, remove blocks. Many people have issues with it. Also keep in mind, if you kill the golem, the villagers remember that for some time and dont spawn a new one. Thats why the killing chamber is out of view.
