PJJ · #2 · Aug 10, 2020. Sounds like you got the pto clutch off (the pulley with the wires) and need to get the pulley above it down to install the belt. That pulley should slide down the silver rod (crankshaft) to allow you to replace the belt. Don't loosen the nut in top as you tried to do, that will not help.

Apr 10, 2020 · LA145 mower deck adjustment. I own a John Deere LA145 that I bought new. The mower has 680 hours on it now. I am doing my normal spring maintenance. My problem is I cannot get the mower deck to hang level. I can get the mower deck level side to side using the adjusters that are in the back. But the deck is about 3/4 inch low in the front.
