Mine is doing the same thing. Temperature inside the grill about 50-90 degrees off. My controller says 225 but the gauge on the lid says 150. I bought a better gauge for the lid and I adjust the controller to get the "real" cooking temp inside the actual smoking chamber. I trust my lid gauge!! Now I get the results I am looking for.
