Honestly after screwing up the order of my platforms twice, I pretty much stopped using bi-directional trains and now only use forward-only trains with turn-about loops at the end. :) (doesn't matter which way the station faces, if the train needs to it'll go through the loop and then dock, or vice versa. =)
