Or possibly go slow enough that the drills clear a little larger path (or use right-click drilling which has a larger radius). The wiki states 1.9m radius cutout for large grid and 1.3m radius for small grid. That means in theory each LG drill clears a 1.5 block diameter and each SG drill clears a 5.2 block diameter.

On my friend's world, I had 3 hydrogen engines with two full batteries at the time. The drill, pistons and rotors were all functional. The items were just not moving from the drill into the Large Cargo Container I had hooked up. There was also a Conveyor Sorter set to Drain All that went to the cargo.Today, we experiment with building a simple mobile drilling station. Will it work okay?
