The lack of needing to coordinate gemstone veins makes this one of the most efficient gemstone mining method. Location. When entering a crystal hollow lobby, try to land yourself in the mithril deposits area.Khazad-dûm is home to the Bal boss, who must be defeated in order to claim the Topaz Crystal. It cant use topaz while being somewhat cheep. I feel it could use some changes to make it worth getting. Its not bad by any stretch, just not fully worth it. Fixes 1. I'm HOTM 6, with a budget of 16-18mil for the tool. Gauntlet has a nice mining speed (I hate how long it takes to break gemstones) but drills also give bonus speed and FORTUNE while mining gemstones. Topaz drill (since Jasper drill is less in my price range) gives mining speed 450 but 1250 on gemstones as well as +100 fortune.
