As I stated in another thread here, the higher quality Yildiz guns are having their reputations tainted by guns selling for a little over $500.00 at a box store. Be gentle. Everything should stay in place if the gun is cocked. If it is, the firing pins springs put enough tension on the firing pins which press against the firing pin retaining pin. If the hammers are down then the tension is taken up and the retaining pin is loose and can fall out the left side of the action.The prostar however is a completely different animal. At the 2017 IWA Outdoor Show in Germany I received a call from an associate of mine who was attending and was at the Yildiz booth. I own a Perazzi HighTech, as well as a Yildiz ProStar. I was looking for a 2nd set of barrels to convert to carriers and start shooting subgauge. I ended up buying the complete Yildiz, because barrels alone weren’t available at the moment. A complete Yildiz gun was comparable in price and more readily available than a new set of barrels.
