Right handed RX7 ultra @75 lbs and 30” I have it set up with the Hoyt QAD integrate rest that shows the (theoretical) center shot at 3/4” from the riser. Moving rest to the right didn’t clear up the left tear. Reading your suggestions, I put the rest back to center shot 3/4”, and played with my grip.PSE is lighter and faster. Hoyt is heavier but more durable. They both shoot great. I would most likely go for the Mach 34 or the Levitate with the EC cams. The E2 cam isn't bad depending on poundage and DL. I have an Evo XF 33 with the E2 cam and at 28.5 and about 60 pounds it's pretty nice. I had the E2 on the new Omen and it went bye-bye ...

Plus there were some perks compared to the VTM, weight, quietness, Carbon etc. Remember I have never shot a bow prior so the technical stuff I relied on the bow shop for insight. I ordered a RX7 ultra 70-80lb, but after going down the rabbit hole I have a couple concerns if I made the right choice.

The standard RX7 did feel snappier when shooting but the draw was a little stiffer (still incredibly smooth compared the the Mathews V3X) and there was an ever so slight amount of vibration at the shot (still less vibration the the V3X).

Hoyt Carbon RX-7 Ultra is all new for 2022. Featuring a longer axel to axel of 34″ compared to the normal RX-7. Offering more stability and accuracy at the slight cost of speed. Featuring all the newest technology. HBX Pro cams, In-line picatinny rail system, Vitalpoint grip, and short stop stabilizer mounts.I purchased the RX7 Ultra due to a side job I just did. Had enough extra cash to justify it. As for the details, I love the grip on the Hoyt. The vibration was less. The V3X is a wee bit quieter. They both look sick. Accessories for the Hoyt is cheaper. I like the simple riser design of the Hoyt. I read reviews that the draw cycle was shit on ... Well, didn’t think I’d add a new bow for 2022 but that was short lived when I shot the RX7’s. LOL Thought I was content to still run my old Prodigy’s,Invasions and only new bow I kept for 2021, the Hoyt Ventum 30. This all changed rather quickly after shooting the RX7’s. Advantage: RX-7, but only if you’re hunting a ton in colder temps. If not, it’s also a non-issue. Riser Length: Despite the lies your wife tells you, an inch makes a difference. There are definite arrow speed advantages and disadvantages to each riser, based on your draw length. The Ventum comes in 30 and 33; the RX-7 in 30 and 34 (Ultra).

I also recently shot the Hoyt RX7. Not the Ultra, as I absolutely love my Mathews Vertix for out west, and my compact V3 for the tree stand. Draw cycle feels great, with less of a "hump" in the back 1/3rd of the draw compared to the Mathews cams, but the back wall still felt mushy to me.
