Polaris sportsman 600 twin problems.

Sep 5, 2014 · Polaris Sportsman shift grinding. I have a 2004 Polaris Sportsman 600 Twin. It has about 2000 miles on it and it is in superb condition. All the routine maintenance has been done religiously. About 6 months ago when I went to put it into High Gear (it has the inline shift pattern, not the H pattern) it started to grind and would not go into gear. Jun 17, 2020 · I have an 04 sportsman 600 twin. It had bad slipping problems so I bought a new belt, a gates gforce 19g3982e. The OEM belt looked good. It was a 3211091. The secondary clutch ended up being bad. Polaris discontinued it, so I bought one on eBay with same number. Put it on and now its like the belt is not disengaging. Creeping at idle. hi guys sorry if this has been answered already have 2003 sportsman 600 twin just got it .Runs great problem: has no tach that i can find by scrolling through the yellow override button. I had moisture in my tps plug so I added some die electric grease and haven't had a problem since. I had one pipe sensor fail, just pull the rope and ride. I seen a few rental 600 pros with 4000 miles for sale so they can't be that bad.:face-icon-small-ton. D.

I have the service manual, but have no idea where to start to test the different wires and parts. I would think it is the CDI box or stator.
