Edgefield Hotel. In 2017, an Edgefield citizen donated the town’s historic hotel to Preservation SC. The original hotel, known as the "Planters Inn", was built in 1813 and later burned and rebuilt in 1919 to what we see today. We are pleased to share that we are working with developers and the Town in bringing this building back to life.
