This is my set up Main: Rapier & Dagger Aloth: Scepter & Rod Eder: Sabre and Large Shield Durance: Quarterstaff (He has a quarterstaff in his picture, so for rp purposes i equip him with one) Kana: Battle Axe and Small shield Sagani: Hunting Bow... Both Paladin and Fighter will be good tanks even quite early on. Heavy Armor, Large Shield and all the passives that are relevant (sword&shield, engangement, defense etc). Also very importantly, the standard formation with the tank in the front single spot with the others behind him.And stacking tanky with tanky is very powerful because of the way percentages work. (decreasing enemy chance to hit from 40%->30% is stronger than decreasing it from 50% to 40%.) And because fighters get disciplined strikes, which helps a lot with aloth's garbage perception.
