I find a heat nukor works best for a death laser, you're putting viral mods on it anyways for the status chance alone, and it's going to be giving you the max of 10 viral procs super quick, so giving proc priority to heat which has no max cap I find is the best way to deal direct damage, and stack up as many heat procs as possible.

Magnetic nukor is good for condition overload priming because it's one of the 'combined' elements (takes two mods to make normally) and you sure won't already have magnetic on anything else XD. Also the kuva nukor chains and has radiation and the "microwave" proc to add to CO status procs.
