Description. Thje trail starts just inside the Lake Scott State Park entrance at Barrel Springs. The initial trail is shaded singletrack turning into doubletrack. Expect to see deer and turkey depending on the time of day. The trail parallels the paved road that goes around lake with many different lake and rock formation views.

Lots of campground space for both primitive and utility camping.
