Litter-Robot 3 models (Litter-Robot 3 and Litter-Robot 3 Connect) are equipped with a Drawer Full Indicator sensor (DFI sensor). It is located above the Waste Drawer and it checks if the drawer is full each time the Globe returns to the Home position. The Control Panel displays a flashing blue light when the DFI is activated.It's really annoying. Originally I've been getting the blinking blue light censor, (until I completely removed cleaned and reattached the dfi cases) but now it's switched to unresponsive solid Yellow (Power button doesn't work.) It will cycle when I push the button, it is on the hard wood floor, I cleaned the interior and checked everything, vacumned out, changed the wasted drawer, and litter.

The three open circles at the top of the ring have the sensors behind them. and they are very sensitive to obstruction from cat hair or debris.Unfortunately, all the multitude of negative reviews over the drawer full problem and blinking blue light are a real problem. The literature pretty much refers to it being due to the litter bag possibly going over the lines causing it to think its full but I've folded mine down so far that is definitely not my problem.
