Yeah it sucks but it would make him WAAAY to OP if you could chain them together. Not if you use a Torgue shotgun with sticky bullets. Shoot for the whole duration, reload, profit. Lucians Call has worked great but as someone else pointed out to me, shotguns with Gyrojets work amazingly with single target bosses.
