So I was looking at a Marlin 39A on the web and I'm a little stumped by the serial number. This is a 24 in barrel 39A without grip cap (just flat wood) but has a white butt plate spacer. No strap rings but has bulls eye under the stock. Barrel is JM marked but has no microgroove roll stamp...Never had a TDS but it looks very similar to a couple of the 39's that I currently own.
