Well I loaded it with 2 each of 45colt, 45colt +P Cor-Bon and 454 300gr XTP Hornadys. The 45 colt were like shooting a cap gun. The 45 +P were a little more recoil, though my GF said they were really loud even with earplugs in. The 454 Hornadys were apparently really loud, I had muffs on, and the recoil was pleasant.
