H4895 was way slow and h4350 was ok (2850 before pressure). Varget is definitely the way to go. Much larger nodes and faster than everything else.

Upon investigating it, I think one of the main issues is simply when the round leaves the mag based on the base-to-shoulder length, combined with the overall length of the round. 6BR<6BRA<6 Dasher<6GT<6x47L<6 Creed. My advice would be to avoid your first barrel being an experiment in potential feeding issues, and stick with 6 Creed.

That and the extra velocity are the reasons it’s more popular in PRS. The BR case is a great size for varget. The XC is great for h4350. The dasher has its down side that you have to fireform. But the fire forming loads are accurate so if you are just plinking, not a huge deal. XC has great brass in Alpha. BR/Dasher as well in Lapua.

I know some smiths would just ram the GT reamer in and clean up the dasher. If it cleans up the chamber, throat and erosion.
