I made change of the lighting by AlienFX and apply the changes, but the keyboard just keep the same and i tried to us FN +F12 to turn off the light, it does show a notice the alienFX is disabled on the screen, but the keyboard still keep the same. Meantime all other functions like alienFusion, alenwareTactX and alienAdrenaline work properly.

Im not sure if this will happen with yours but i bootcamped windows and downloaded the alienware software, I was able to program the keyboard, then unplug it. Reboot to mac, and plug it back in and the colors are still present. Hopefully that helps you.
