It is the rear wheel freehub.. Original 8 speed cassette slides on it. It is the part that makes the clicking sound when coasting. What happens is when I stop pedaling, that ratchet mechanism in the free hub gets stuck and rear cassette keeps spinning which causes chain to slack over the top of front chaining.
