The A5X has much better organization options like bookmarks and searching - which would be immensely helpful. The pen is also looking like a huge plus here. I love real luxury pens and own a few fountain pens.Yes, Boox does have audio recording while Supernote does not. Supernote also does not have a backlit screen but that is due to their philosophy. They just do not like them. While this may be a drawback in some respects, not having that layer of back light means more accurate precision writing.

They use electronic ink instead of backlighting (like the iPad), and so they’re more pleasant and better on your eyes. They don’t have 16 million apps.

Supernote is wonderful device but as you already have mentioned its oit of your latest scope. Boox na3c is currently top device with the bsr/gpu tech and one note works good on it.While reMarkable has more brushes, it only has three levels of thickness. And it has black, gray and white. Supernote lets me adjust the fineliner output in increments of 0.10mm, and has black, two grays, and white. I write headings in 0.30mm and do notes in 0.20mm fineliner. Again: clean, precise, easy to read.The writing experience on the Remarkable edges out the Onyx by a bit on the Note Air 2. I don't have experience with the newer Onyx devices that apparently have slightly better responsiveness with writing. I had the same drive as you - get away from an iPad. I bought a RM2 last may, and a Boox Note Air last July.
