View My Garage. Rear Diffuser for the 6th gen Camaro. We will have the new rear diffuser for the 6th gen Camaro soon!! We do know it will fit the ZL1 and ZL1-1LE and most all V8s with the stock muffler. We are testing now and checking fit. YES this diffuser is at the correct angle 10 to 15 deg and has the added stakes and WILL WORK!!

I see no need to drain coolant and it's not listed in the steps. Pretty cut and dry. 1) jack car - disconnect battery. 2) remove heat shield. 3) disconnect wire a. 4) disconnect wire b. 5) disconnect battery cable. 6) remove two bolts holding starter. Installation is opposite of removal.

The only negative thing I can say for a daily driver is that the 6th gen is quite a bit smaller, so cabin space is smaller inside and doesn't feel as spacious as the 5th gen. A little bit more annoying to get into, but it also fits in garages and parking spaces better since it's footprint is smaller.
