Gauss Minigun's biggest strength over the 50cal and gat plasma is that it's extremely accurate. The downside is that this isn't relevant to heavy guns since you're not using the weapon category to only get headshots, and even then its ammo is so low-yield crafting/drop that it's never worth using over other options since it's unsustainable.

VATS is the way to roll with a fixer because of drift and recoil- mod the weapon around making VATS more efficient. Auto receiver, aligned everything, forceful stock, no scope use glow or equivalent and a suppressor. Find a piece of armour with AP refresh and put a point or two into grim reaper.

Spin up time is like minigun, 500rd mag is like the minigun, changing barrels for faster RoF but worse range is like the minigun (and good god is that shitty. THIS IS A GAUSS WEAPON. It should have massive range. Or at least give us the tri-barrel like the minigun- lower RoF, higher damage, same or better range)

Tesla Coil Capacitor is better, it buffs reload and Dynamo debuffs reload. Coil also has more energy damage, and you wont miss the extra capacity from Dynamo at all.Those two combined give it better accuracy than the gatling gun , which is usually sufficient.
