This was making the ECU think it's "stuck" closed as it's not getting any response from this port anymore. I haven't heard anything about synthetic or 10w40 being recommended by Hyundai. I do however recommend synthetic oil if you like to space your oil changes further apart or drive hard. I would not recommend 10w40, but 5w30 seems best suited for most climates & driving conditions.Genesis Coupe Tech.
