The hard part is readjustment as you ascend. You must hang from your saddle on the side of the tree and tighten the traction belt as the tree gets smaller in diameter. You will have to readjust 2 or three times on most trees. Be sure and tie the platform to your tether biner from the strap you put your feet in.

I have a Lone Wolf seat from a lock on and a 2 foot LW climbing stick. I thought I’d be able to bolt that sucker on the stick to make a platform but there is 1/2” of play between the size of the stick and the bracket on the seat. Anyone over come this or do I need a bigger diameter of square tubing?
