dom42 · #2 · Apr 30, 2015 I have a 229 scorpion and a 320 compact. I like to carry the 320 more since it's a little lighter and no beaver tail. The 229 feels better in my hand. They both shoot really well. I like the simplicity of the striker for carry vs the double action single action.

I have two P320 Carry (9mm and .357 Sig), a P229 Nitron (.357Sig/40S&W), and a P229 Legion (40 S&W). I conceal carry the P320 Carry in .357 Sig simply because it weighs less and I have two additional rounds in the magazine ( 14 compared to 12 in the magazines for the P229).The only P320 that I've found delivers more at retail than you can assemble the parts, is the P320 legion. The P229 legion is a P229...I didn't find it to be worth the retail price. I have several P229's in various flavors, including the Legion. · I have 2 AXG guns, the Scorpion AXG and another AXG Carry build both wearing LOK Veloce grips which are fantastic. I like the P229 better in 40/357Sig than I do in 9mm. If I were in your situation with a P365 for carry, I would choose the P320 AXG. Huge P22x fan here but in your case I'd definitely go 320.
