Hello all, I've been having some starting issues with my 2014 1500 Promaster (Gas). The inconsistency of the issue has made it hard to diagnose. But sometimes when I try to start the van i turn the key, all the electronics turn on but the engine does not. It doesn't even try to turnover, just here ... Not that the Promaster is horrible. But the Promaster drives more like an old truck. The Transit is much more of a minivan or SUV feel to me. - The seats of the transit win hands down. The base Promaster seats are downright bad. The top trim seats of the Promaster are just passable. The seating position sucks in the PM and im only 5'8.The illumination of the engine temperature warning light means the RAM ProMaster coolant is too hot. IF the light comes on while driving, safely pull over and stop the van. Switch off the A/C system if it’s on and idle the engine for a period of time. If the temperature does not return to normal, switch off the engine.
