I'd love to have this feature, but I doubt it is feasable. There are a multitude of steps between scanning a face and getting it in game. This isn't really a problem for more gimicky stuff mobile platforms have to offer, or scanning your face on to a basic character like some sports games offer, but it's another for a game-ready 3D Mesh that needs to animate and deform properly.
It's there. Go to OM-1 then fly down to the surface. It doesn't get dark there. Now fly around very low at around 100m/s and scan a lot. I generally fly toward the sun to maintain orientation. You're looking for things that first appear on your scanner at 2000m or less. Keep pinging.
