Puncture would pierce, it would deal (an idea) 10% of your weapons innate damage straight through armor instantly. No ticking, no waiting. Slash is the DoT, while Puncture could be the burst damage alternative. I like it, but then Puncture just becomes the best proc and Slash the 2nd. Burst is always better than DoT.
