Ar15 powder coating.
Iv been trying to do some research on it but can't find any solid answers. I just ordered a stripped lower, upper, and hand guard. My uncles does profesional powder coating so I was thinking about having him powder coat those parts a titanium blue. I was wondering if anyone here has done so or if anyone has good reasons as to why I shouldn't.

The threaded muzzle is cut a little narrower than the main barrel profile, and screw threads are cut into the last half-inch or so. On .223/5.56 mm it’s usually 1/2″ x 28 (1/2″ inch diameter by 28 threads per inch). Oxidized (dull) lead shouldn’t be an issue for powder coating, since it’s literally part of the substrate. But sometimes it’s hard to tell if you’re seeing just the oxide, or something else.
