Before streaming services became my main source of content (movies, series as i finally dropped my cable contract last year) I didn’t know much about vpns, hence i scouted reddit. I think reddit is a platform where people have extra strong opinions and priorities, so finding consensus on which vpn is the best was almost impossible lol.
iTunes (Apple TV), Netflix, Prime Video, Microsoft Movies (Xbox), and VUDU are the only 4K/High Bitrate streaming content providers afaik. Can’t really say which one has the “best” but I’d say either VUDU or Prime as when I view their throughput from another computer on the network it stays in the 25-40 mbps range. 2.Netflix reports just over 17 mbps for 4k hdr. Apple is the highest and then Disney+, I think. No, there is no service, app or database I know of that collects accurate exact codec & bitrate data for all streaming services. There are too many services & variables to consider.Whichever one has most of the anime that you want to watch, taking into account sub or dub preferences. Depending on your country the main ones are Crunchyroll, Funimation and HiDive, but as you know Amazon, Netflix and other services have varying amounts. The obvious reason is that Google throws in 6 DVRs with the service and each has unlimited storage and tuners. Which is a big reason. But for me it is the better scrub.

For something like Breaking Bad, Netflix has The Naked Director, but you probably can watch that without VPN. One of the most expensive dramas (that aren't taiga period dramas) ever made. The Japanese site tver.jp is free and still works with VPN. I watch Japanese variety shows on there, but I've been watching some dramas, like the new suspense ... Strongly recommend Roku Ultra or the streaming stick Plus for best performance. I'm also on the yearly plan with Hulu @ $1.99 through the Summer 2023, so i'm good. When the deals end i'll go back to monthly and see what new deals come up. No matter what, my Premiums will total less than $10 per month. I already use the free stuff like Pluto, Tubi, Freevee, etc. plus i use an Antenna for CBS, NBC, ABC, and Fox.
