You could get a "better" (less Bubba) SKS cheaper, buy a (nicer) case & some ammo, and still come out ahead. Or for 600ish you could probably snag a nice mostly-original/matching Tula gun. That said if you like this gun and it shoots well you could definitely negotiate on the price given its mods.
