NESCAC schools are great. to add, D3 has less practice hours in the fall & winter so while it is still a huge time commitment, the commitment in the fall & winter (essentially half the year) is less than D1. that being said, it makes sense that many athletes who want more time outside of lacrosse opt to go to a really great school with a great D3 lacrosse programOrange said: I've seen top D2 teams play and it was just all around more sloppy than any D3 I've seen (which isn't a lot) but it's generally known that D3 is better than D2.
