Sep 19, 2016 · The problem is I installed the honda mini pro taper bars fine but when reconnecting the throttle side to the handle bar after I start to tighten it, when turning the throttle it becomes very hard. Its fine if I tighten it outside the bars its smooth but once I tighten it on the bars I get that issue. How to install handlebars on a Honda Grom! The installation was fairly easy and straight forward. Do to the bars being much lower the throttle cables and front brake line were bunched up, the throttle would bind. Whatever you choose, it’ll change the whole feel of the ride and you’ll love it. KLX 110 Pro taper. KLX if you want as close to stock height and width, Honda minis is you like lower bars. Just installed the klx110 on my buddies 2022 Grom. They are stock height, wider, and less swept back. VERY comfortable.

When I bought my OG it had the ATV high protaper bars. They had to much sweep for my liking made my wrists sit at an odd angle and they would hit my knees at full lock.
