For the time it takes to complete one when compared to Legend Lost Sectors, the drop rate increase isn't noticeable enough. You are always better off going for Legend clears, as they are significantly faster to complete, whilst having a similar enough drop rate (IIRC Legend has a 20% or 25% drop rate, where as Master has a 30% or 35% rate).
It is a fairly conservative loadout but I still average runs between 4-7 minutes on legend and 5-8 minutes on master. The drop rates even on master are kind of hilariously bad. By completing a Legendary or Master Lost Sector, players can immediately get the Exotic that they didn't choose as a reward. Both can still be earned as a reward, but Destiny 2 prioritizes Exotic engram unlocks based on what players don't currently own, meaning whichever option isn't chosen will be the reward in the Lost Sector.
